They work really well, it is not external however so you need to have that installed in your tired from a mechanic.
USB-to-HDMI Adapter that i bought was not working. Technical Support raised against this issue was abandoned half way. No response from support team despite several follow ups. No complaint or dispute contact details on Teyes portal. I would recommend this product.
Even after the one-year warranty period, the have refunded half of the purchase price. That's very good in my eyes.
My jeep (2012 Grand Cherokee) was one of the "rare instances" where the A/C control unit did not line up with the T'Eyes frame. I drew up a bracket to 3D print and solve the problem, I'll post the file here. If you have a 3D printer, just download the file and print two of them. I printed at 100% infill for max strength, no supports needed. Overall very happy with the head unit, would recommend the DVR too while you're at it. I also kept the existing backup camera functionality by connecting the green(in black tape) and green/brown wires from the vehicle (in the picture) straight to the camera-in rca plug on the head unit. Also, if your original unit has GPS built in, pick up one of these adapters and plug your yellow antennae cable into the GPS antennae slot on the head unit. This allows you to use your vehicle's built-in GPS antennae instead of the included one.

At night, the brightness of the display disturbs the driver very much.
Honestly, two stars might be too much. Something ALLWAYS doesn't work. Whether it be a backup cam that would freeze or constant connection problems with Android Auto. In the beginning, I was using a hotspot from my phone to have full function of the unit instead of Android auto and had to reset the unit at least 3-4 times a day since it would lose connectivity to satellites constantly. Two updates later, waze is not running anymore, so I had to start using Android Auto. But it also has connectivity issues. It might wirelessly connect or might not. USB ports do not provide enough output, so even when connected, the phone is not charging, and the the battery is depleted, although at a slower rate. The dashcam stops working, and the DVR interface is not responsive to format the card or getting into settings; only the exit button works. Sound quality is simply trash and worse than the factory system. I have tried it all, from cheap walmart speakers to high-end Rockford Fosgate. It still sounds like trash. A lack of manuals and explanations of the functions can get frustrating. How-to videos cover maybe about 2% and primarily installations (not entirely still). Customer support is hit or miss, but even if you get a response, it will not be in a timely manner. Overall it has potential, and I wish it would work as intended, but it is utterly raw product, and after two years of frustration, I will be replacing it today.

Having terrible problems with Android auto not connecting. Have to close and reopen carl link every time. Definitely not my phone as it works on other car android auto installs. T'Eyes are not replying to my support emails about it.
Trucks are probably to big for this system, rear sides gets extended too much. But overall works really great!
Screen is great and the frame that it fits into looks OEM. However, Can't reset TPMS sensors nor disable them so will fail its inspection. Bought T'EYES TPMS sensors for the head unit but, still no use if the factory dash light is on warning that the sensors are not working. Also, Carplay works great but, Android auto regularly fails to connect and I have to close the carlink app and re open it which is a real pain. The fact that you cannot control or replay video from the dashcam via the headunit is really annoying too.
The screen and the resolution is really good, but the brightness is not enough.
I have a Beats Edition, and this device doesn’t support Optical Fiber.
The sound is crap, I only have one speaker working out of 10.
The subwoofer, no more work
Wired or Wireless Apple CarPlay don’t work.
Doesn’t support Digital Radio
Doesn’t support Door light change
My wireless charger no more work.
And other issues
I’m looking for support and solutions on internet 🤷🏻♂️

Have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata, United States diversion on their website it says that this version fits the vehicle. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times and no one has emailed me or contacting me back.
Great headunit easy to use a little tricky to set up but worth it
Software is very buggy, delayed response, poor technical support.
Product fitting is good.
Head unit was sent with a wiring harness that was not suitable for my car .After waiting for a response from teyes ,none came and dispute ways canceled 😞 very disappointing as this is an expensive head unit
Buyers need ro be very cautious
Product itself good, 360 cameras work very nice, on par with oem vehicle. Unfortunately my 2k display broke within first month, and it took me 2-3 weeks to talk with support over email to then to agree to send new display. I have order number but it has been 3 weeks and no status update, still not shipped. Really car experience, as product is unusable with broken screen.
Kanbus does not accept the accept and end call buttonsto which I was told that I need to configure it manually, but this does not work because there is a canbus, other than that everything is fine for now
The delivery was great, everything was fine, the product was described by the seller I recommended, this is not my first order!
Excellent quality in all components
Product doesn’t fully work. Doesn’t connect to your existing Backup camera or Microphone. Customer support is Slow.
